BOWLING GREENS – North Ipswich Bowls Club

Many visiting social bowling clubs regularly hire our greens as a venue for their games. NIBC usually organise a team or two to meet any such challengers.  Even if you are simply a lone bowler passing through town, you can still arrange a game by email ~ northipswich@bigpond.com OR phone ~ 3281 1979.

Our greens are available for hire to private or corporate groups  wanting to make social bowls a part of their function or event.  We supply the necessary equipment (bowls, mats, jacks, markers, etc.) – all you need to do is wear flat soled shoes or bare feet.  Loose casual clothing is suitable for social bowls.  We also provide sufficient instruction to help beginners get started and can suggest a few party game formats that help structure a fun group activity.   See our other details of facilities we hire to parties and events for more such information if required.

Both our greens can be used under lights for evening bowling activities.   This can be  a lot of fun – especially in the warmer months.   If you like bowling, after rolling a few down the rink at a party – give us a call and arrange a bit more instruction and to make arrangements about joining our Club or participating in our regular social days.

The basis of our  green hire is a per head charge (green fees) for players.
